Nano4Med contributes to the European Biotech Act consultation

In June 2025, at the invitation of the Polish Ministry of Economic Development and Technology (MRiT), we provided input to the European Commission’s consultation on the future European Biotech Act.

Our recommendations focused on:

  • promoting safe translation of nano-enabled biotech innovations,

  • fostering bio-nano–AI–regulatory collaboration,

  • ensuring coherence with the Advanced Materials Act,

  • advocating for funding of interdisciplinary bio-nano projects, including academic–industry partnerships, biomanufacturing infrastructure, and translational research,

  • promoting doctoral and advanced training in bio-nano innovation, safety, regulatory science, and data-driven approaches, and supporting academic–industry mobility.

Through this contribution, we aim to foster responsible innovation and shape Europe’s research and innovation landscape.
